It rained today but the park was cheerful with active birds
In East Freshwater Pond two Moorhens were observed after a long absence.

“Shio-iri Pond” was also crowded with a variety of birds.
A Grey Heron who was keen on hunting successfully caught a fish in front of Nature Center. Lucky visitors watched the moment in Nature Center!

Visitors in Nature Center also had a distant view of a Greenshank on the tidal flats.

At Observation Hut 2 visitors could observe Wigeons in rest at a short distance,

and at Observation Hut 1 they observed a large mixed flock of Tufted Duck, Pochard and Great Scaup.
